Publication note
This SMS Messaging notice identifies the GeriPay service as being operated by Vedat Ellidokuzoglu, an individual sole proprietor based in Illinois, United States. SMS, support, legal, privacy, rights-request, and general legal-material questions may be directed to support@geripay.com or legal@geripay.com.
This page describes GeriPay's transactional SMS messaging program for account verification and account-security purposes. It is a public SMS notice and proof-of-consent reference. It supplements the GeriPay Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, but it is not a separate marketing program.
Section 1. SMS Program Scope
1.1 Transactional and account-security messages only
GeriPay uses SMS only for transactional and account-security purposes. Messages may include phone number verification, one-time passcodes, two-factor authentication, login or account verification, password or account recovery codes, and critical account-security notices.
GeriPay does not use SMS for marketing, promotional messaging, bulk messaging, sales outreach, newsletters, advertising, or campaigns asking users to try GeriPay.
1.2 How users opt in
Users opt in when they provide a phone number and request or enable an SMS-based account-verification, phone-verification, login-verification, password-recovery, or account-security feature in GeriPay where this SMS notice or equivalent SMS consent language is presented.
If a user does not want to receive transactional account-security SMS messages, the user should not request or enable SMS-based account-security features. Some account-security or recovery features may be unavailable without a working phone number and valid consent where SMS is used.
1.3 Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies based on account activity and the SMS-based security features a user requests or enables. Standard message and data rates may apply.
1.4 Opt-out and help
Users may reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages from the sending number. Users may reply HELP for help. For support, contact support@geripay.com or visit /contact.
Opting out of SMS may prevent GeriPay from sending SMS verification codes, login verification messages, password recovery codes, or other account-security text messages. Email-based account and support flows may remain available where supported by the product.
1.5 Carrier delivery notice
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS delivery can be affected by carrier filtering, device settings, network availability, unsupported numbers, opt-out status, provider outages, or other conditions outside GeriPay's direct control.
1.6 Terms and Privacy
GeriPay's SMS messaging program is subject to the GeriPay Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Review /terms and /privacy for more information about service use, account-security communications, phone numbers, consent records, provider-supported delivery, and information handling.
